Get Rid of Cellulite Once and For All

By Dan da Silva

Looking like the surface of an orange, cellulite is a group of fat cells beneath the surface of the skin, trapped inside the body's tissue itself. This has become a serious cosmetic problem for females all over the world and methods of losing cellulite are sought continually because as females age the problem gets worse. There are many reasons for cellulite just as there are many methods of losing cellulite, nonetheless if you are lucky enough to eliminate it, you can have the equally hard task of keeping it off.

Commonly, cellulite is found on the thighs, stomach, and the behind and is much more common in females than in men because of differences in the way fat, muscle, and connective tissues are distributed in males and women's skin. Males more often than not tend to have lower amounts of fatty tissue, while women have higher amounts. Estrogen, the female hormone is also partly to blame as one of the causes of cellulite because it is an aid in the storage of fat needed by the woman for a period, when she is pregnant and producing breast milk. Another contributing cause of cellulite is being obese but cellulite is not formed as a direct result of this, nevertheless, it can worsen the situation. During pregnancy, a woman's body goes through a number of changes during which time there is an increase in fatty deposits, general weight gain and the retention of water.

Most specialists agree that the best way of losing cellulite is a reduced calorie, proportionate diet with food that has high fiber content, and to increase the amount of physical exercise taken. As a cosmetic solution, bronzing works quite well, because although the cellulite hasn't actually gone, it seems to vanish because the dark skin hides it. Regrettably, doing various cellulite therapy exercises may still not be enough in the pursuit of losing cellulite or cure a person's hormonal imbalance which is still usually thought of as the main reason why females get cellulite. Nevertheless, there are other cellulite treatments you can use such as massaging the affected areas, water therapy to flush the system, creams that burn the cellulite and of course giving up cigarettes.

A more intense method of cellulite therapy is suction lipectomy for instance, which removes collected fats from the muscles surgically and in this process a suction pump is allowed to penetrate through small incisions made on the skin. This suction breaks through the deposited fats, massages the affected area with rollers attached and the connective fibers that hold fatty tissues, until the toxins and water are expelled. However, this cellulite therapy is pricey and not a something every woman wants to experience. Cellulite is neither a medical disease nor a life threatening illness but does bring sadness to many women and is commonly an indication of an unhealthy lifestyle. So once the cause of cellulite has been ascertained in an individual then it should be easy to solve what cellulite therapy will be the most efficient in losing cellulite permanently. - 16650
