Body Acne

By Jimmy Johnson

Body acne appears all over the body, but mostly targets the chest, back and shoulder areas. Unfortunately there is no one cause for acne or body acne, and it can be an annoying, and sometimes painful experience.

Having body acne can be embarrassing as well, especially during the summer when you want to wear less clothing. While most of us aren't big on exposing our bodies in the first place, having body acne makes wearing beach clothes even less attractive. Luckily there are ways to take care of body acne to minimize breakouts.

There is good news, though. Body acne can be treated with a few simple steps and there are products to help address more difficult blemishes. The Clear Skin Regimen is a popular choice for individuals who have normal breakouts but some may want to follow certain steps that lead to clear skin all over.

The major ingredient in the treatment of body acne is benzoyl peroxide and this is great news to thrifty individuals like my self. One thing to remember when using peroxide is that it takes the color out of fabrics, so make sure to use caution when applying the peroxide to the area and make sure to keep fabrics away until the peroxide is completely dry.

Until someone figures out the cause of acne, treating it may take a few tries to find the product that works best for you. Certain foods have been known to irritate the skin and cause breakouts, so you may want to adjust your diet and see if you have any results. Also make sure that you are always drinking enough water, as hydrating the skin is very important to keeping skin clear.

Another area to consider is the neck. The neck is special because the skin is more delicate than the skin on the back and the shoulders. Sometimes treating the skin too much can cause future breakouts. Even though acne on the neck may be considered body acne, it needs to be treated like acne on the face. - 16650
