Do Natural Candida Infection Remedies Work?

By June Lyons

Yeast infection signs are a funny thing. Sometimes you will show all the classic signs and it will seem obvious. Other times you may be experiencing a number of seemingly unrelated, minor health issues, and you would never believe for one moment that it could possibly be signs of a yeast infection.

The distinguishing feature of a yeast overgrowth is the presence of elevated inflamed areas called satellite pustules which emerge on nearby skin. If you notice these pustules in or on your skin then you can assume that the rash is due to a yeast infection, as a non-infectious rash doesn't have these pustules. Yeast infections can emerge on your thighs, abdominal area, genitals, as well as on the skin folds around the genital area.

Yeast infections can cause so many different symptoms and you can go round in circles trying so many different diets and creams and antibiotics that you don't know if you are coming and going. The list of symptoms are endless, burning, itching, redness and so on. The list goes on and on but if you just suffered from one of these it would be bad enough but to suffer from all of them at the same time is horrendous.

Of the usual treatments it is common to see vaginal creme, suppositories, and oral medications being used. To avoid and prevent Yeast Infection is a matter of which advice you trust, but generally it is advisable to avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes, remove damp clothes immediately, and don't bath in soapy baths. Also, you may also consider avoiding bread, and sugar.

Now, one of the most popular misconceptions is that bacteria cause a yeast infection. This is not true. As a matter of fact, our bodies have a certain amount of bacteria that live in us and actually combat the fungus to keep it in check. Certain prescribed and over-the-counter medications will kill the bacteria that are aiding in the control of the fungus.

In fact, conventional medicines such as over-the-counter treatment will do more harm by increasing the risk of recurring infections. These infections get more severe with each recurrence. It is important to treat the yeast infection symptoms at the first sign of them. Before the treatment begins, it is important to first know the symptoms. - 16650
