Look Intelligent Look Great

By Victor B. Sancharo

Someway, I have always had this feeling that it is believed in general that men have to look intelligent and only women have to look good. I do not agree to this thought. Without a doubt, not-so-good-looking but intelligent men are favored of well-dressed and unintelligent men.

Certainly, intelligent and bad-looking men are preferred over well-dressed and not so intelligent men. But just think of a situation, what a kind of a person would be a spotlessly dressed and gifted man be? Anywhere he goes, definitely everyone would watch him.

Consider this proposition. Why do men prefer beauties to brains? Because men can see better than they can think, and hence women are always known to pay attention to their appearance. But the same men fail to realize that women too, on their part, like to see men in trendy and well-cut clothes.

Men's suits have always held pride of place in their wardrobe. Well, that is because a suit is 'suited' for every occasion! In that case, should the men not pay enough attention to it and ensure that it earns them the lan that so easily eludes them just because they tend to wear this 'casual attitude' on their sleeves so often?

A tastefully done well-cut suit draws the attention of the onlookers. A good-looking suit's definition is not confined to the richness of the fabric alone, but also the shade, the smartness of the tailor and the accessories that go with the suit.

Firstly, you should select your suit material with care. The fabric should have a smooth feel, should not be abrasive to touch, and should not crumple easily. At the same time, it should not look too shiny and synthetic.

Next, choose the color of your suit. Go for mild shades to give off a "cool" look. Another area to consider is the occasion and the climate you are going to wear the suit to. You could also go for several other combinations of colors.

Now, the tie. It should give a contrast look to the suit that you wear. If it is for a special occasion, you should always go for a neat and less contrast colors. The width of the tie should not disturb the style of your suit.

Now, the inimitable and inevitable role of the tie; the width of the tie keeps changing every once in a few years but the standard sizes are always in demand. Please do no go for atrocious shades just because the very young wear them and are forgiven. Choose with care.

It is better to select cuffs and lapel of the same material and quality, otherwise one will overcome the presence of the other. Let them not be exaggerated, but delicate.

Finally, you should pay attention to the shoes. Brown, black and grey ones are safe and sound option. Let them not be too complicated but simple and easy to wear. Do not to forget to choose the right shade of socks, or else you will sit down and your socks will be visible.

Then the shoes you wear. It should be taken care as like ties, as they should not disturb the style of the suit and the occasion. Rather than going for a contrasted color, you could go for the same match.

Hair should be styled in a way that does not overshadow the rest of the outfit. Gel should be used sparingly and the style should be conservative in nature. As always, thanks for reading. - 16650
